Dr Darren Quirke is originally from Listowel, Co Kerry and studied medicine in Trinity College Dublin, where he qualified in 1997. He then worked in St Jame’s Hospital Dublin. After this Dr Darren travelled to England and spent 10 years working for the NHS in Nottinghamshire. He returned to Ireland in 2008.
